5 Places to Travel to in a Good Economy

The economy is not always likely to be bad and there are some wonderful places out there to take a holiday or vacation and these include some new destinations. Below a look at 5 places we recommend for the coming few years.

1. UAE is fast becoming a popular destination and with the introduction of the Abu Dhabi Formula 1 grand prix for 2009, with a brand new circuit being built and with a location such as Dubai also gaining in popularity very fast. The United Arab Emirates has a great climate and worth considering. The Abu Dhabi F1 is bound to attract a significant amount if tourism to the Emirates and the UAE will continue to grow for tourism.

2. Rome, Italy is one of the favourites of many and it never gets tiring with so much to do and see in this city. If you have already been to Rome it is always worth a revisit and with some excellent restaurants, bars and museums this always deserves a top 10 place. The classic attractions including the Coliseum, the Vatican and the Spanish Steps are also worth seeing.

3. Miami, Florida in the Northern Hemisphere winter time has temperatures in the seventies and long sunny days and what a place for a winter holiday. Miami is a great base for visiting the Florida keys, the Everglades and Fort Lauderdale. Miami itself has some wonderful beaches and the downtown area by the art deco parts is worth walking around and seeing. Collins Avenue in particular is a street you may find yourself walking down and is central to the main deco parts.

4. Baden Baden, Germany is a class location which is a wellness spa town and which sits near to the Black Forest in the heart of Germany. Baden Baden has some excellent saunas, spas and is a wonderful place to unwind for a few days or more. Baden is not cheap but this is a quality place with excellent wellness facilities.

5. Bangkok, Thailand is a city which is often over shadowed by the beach and coastal resorts such as Koh Samui, Phuket and Pattaya. Bangkok in its own right is a city very rich in quality when it comes to restaurants, temples, museums and a number of other tourism activities. Khao Sam Road is a popular street with tourists and excellent for shopping and avoiding the language problems which can sometimes otherwise occur.
